Shaped frames

These works are rounded shaped frames which violently cut into the works, inverting the normal art to frame relationship.

Puzzles

In late 2018 in the studio, I had one of the 5-6 major personal turning points on my creative journey. In 2019, I had to move studios and that piece never showed up again, ie., is in a landfill somewhere. The puzzles group is me trying to fill the hole in my heart.

Lightbox

The last work is an interpretation of a “lightbox” on the floor with loose translucent works on it.

The title of the show is comprised of a Depeche Mode song from 1982 and the subject of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics. More on this later…
